With the beginning of this year, the Malayalam film industry has had a great start, and fans are looking forward to more releases in May. While some of them are among the most eagerly awaited 2024 projects, others are also anticipated to make an impression on the audience through their distinctive storytelling and performance styles.
The Malayalam films that will be showing on big screens in May are listed below.
Malayalee From India (May 1)
It appears that Malayalee From India will help Nivin Pauly resume his commercial success. The actor's films have not performed well at the box office for the past few years, so fans are ready for a big comeback. Based on the teaser, the movie revolves around the life of Aalparambil Gopi, a silly young man whose peculiar hairstyle goes well with his antics.
Nadikar (May 3)
Nadikar, directed by Lal Jr. is scheduled to have a pan-Indian release in five languages- Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. Tovino Thomas plays the character of David Padikkal, a young star of Malayalam cinema. The film features powerful appearances by Tovino, Bhavana, Soubin, Chanthu, and others, as well as highly effective moments of humour and occasionally emotional moments.
Guruvayoorambala Nadayil (May 16)
The film looks like a fun-filled family one that will draw large crowds to theatres, based on the teaser.
