Fans of Vijay were excited when team Leo released the first single from the film, Naa Ready, on the star's birthday in June. The peppy song composed by Anirudh went viral in no time. It garnered 100M views on YouTube recently and is on the way to clock 125M views soon.

The much-awaited second single from the film is expected to be out soon. The gangster drama's release is almost 40 days away, and the advance booking has begun in the UK a couple of days ago.

Naa Ready song from Leo censored, leaving Vijay fans upset

The CBFC has now censored the chartbuster song and their suggestions have left fans upset. They have asked the makers to replace a few lines glorifying smoking and drinking. They have also asked to replace the close-up shots of Vijay smoking in addition to increasing the size of the statutory warning.

This has made fans furious and they have been taking to Twitter to express their displeasure. They are now curious to know how the song's visuals and lyrics would be butchered when they watch it on the big screen.

All eyes on October 19

The super success of Jailer has made Kollywood excited and the industry is now eager to watch Leo which is arriving with huge expectations. The action drama helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam on October 19.

It will have a solo release in Tamil while it is gearing up for a clash with Bhagavanth Kesari and The Ghost in Telugu and Kannada respectively. Leo marks Vijay's second outing this year after Varisu which was released in January.
