It looks like the release of director Mysskin's horror thriller Pisasu 2 is likely to be postponed. The film was recently cleared by the Censor Board with A certificate. But it looks like the makers are not really happy with the A certification and are trying to reapply for U/A certificate so that they can reach out to the family audience as well. The film, was initially slated to release on August 31. The production house had earlier made the announcement on their official social media handle, "With the blessings of Lord Ganesha, 'Pisasu 2' will release worldwide on Vinayakar Chathurthi on August 31 (sic).” But if the makers go for the re-appeal according to the speculations, the release is likely to get delayed.
Pisasu 2 is primarily shot in Tamil, but will be dubbed and released in three languages, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. The film has Andrea Jeremiah in the lead along with Vijay Sethupathi in a special appearance. Mysskin was recently in the news, after a nude sequence of Andrea Jeremiah was deleted from the film.
