Mysskin has shared his experience of working with Tamil superstar Vijay in Leo.
Filmmaker Mysskin is quite upbeat about his performance in Tamil superstar Vijay's upcoming movie Leo. And he seems to have been blown away by the dedication of director Lokesh Kanagaraj and his team braving the coldest weather conditions.
"I am returning to Chennai from Kashmir. In minus 12 degrees, the crew of 500 members worked very hard and completed my portions. Stunt masters Anbariv (Anbumani and Arivumani) have very wonderfully choreographed a fight sequence. The unrelenting work of the assistant directors and their affection towards me, took me by surprise. Producer Lalit was working as part of the crew even in that chilly weather," Mysskin said in a press release.
Mysskin heaped praises on Lokesh and expressed his admiration for the young filmmaker. It's worth noting that Mysskin was one of the big directors in Tamil cinema to talk highly of Lokesh's debut movie Maanagaram in 2017. He had appreciated the way Lokesh had crafted the film's screenplay. The film at the time went on to become a big hit elevating Lokesh's career to another level.
"Lokesh Kanagaraj, as an accomplished filmmaker, with affection, thoughtfulness and singular vision, was commanding the sets like a great warrior. After I completed my last shot, he embraced me and I kissed his forehead. I am so happy to have worthed with my brother Vijay as an actor in this film. I would never forget how humble and kind he was with me on the sets. Leo will definitely become a big hit," he added.
Leo is one of the most awaited films of 2023. The film is the extension of the crime cinematic universe that Lokesh started with Kaithi. The director's last film Vikram, starring Kamal Haasan, opened up the cinematic universe to a lot of possibilities. It's said that Lokesh will make movies in this universe for at least the next 10 years.
Leo also stars Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand, and Mansoor Ali Khan in supporting roles. The film is expected to arrive in cinemas in October.
