G V Prakash Kumar about Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam
The music for Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, directed by Dhanush, is composed by GV Prakash Kumar. This is the first time that he is collaborating with Dhanush. In a recent interview, the music composer revealed that the romantic drama’s music has been created specifically for the new generation.
“I am collaborating with Dhanush for the first time and I am excited about it. Dhanush is very passionate about his work. During the production work of NEEK (Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam), Dhanush and I would get on calls to brainstorm ideas. Dhanush always has a thing of using a catchword in every song. And I am usually tasked to create the tune based on the catchword. I can feel an artist’s pure collab while working with Dhanush on his directorial,” the composer revealed.

But for Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam, I programmed myself. He sings the tracks and I would programme it. Likewise, we were able to finish a song within 2 days,” GV Prakash revealed.
G V Prakash emphasised that the new album from Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam will be a refreshing one for ‘2000s kids’. “Soon the new album will be coming out.
