Murshid Poster: Do not underestimate Kay Kay Menon aka Murshid bhai or else...!

Kay Kay Menon's recent gangster drama, 'Murshid', was recently released on the OTT platform and opened with positive reviews upon its release. The show, which is directed by Shravan Tiwari, was released on August 30 on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. The gangster drama is set in Mumbai and also stars Zakir Hussain and Tanuj Virvani in pivotal roles. Days after the release of the show, the streaming platform shared a new poster featuring Menon and Zakir.

Taking to their social media account, ZEE5 shared a new poster of Murshid. In the poster, we can see Kay Kay Menon and Zakir Hussain and a bullet in the middle of them. In the picture, the text read: "Bhai ko halke mein liya toh tu gaya" In the caption, the makers wrote: "Murshid Bhai ko underestimate karna, galti nahi, gunaah hai! #Murshid streaming now, only on #ZEE5"

Earlier, while speaking about playing the role of a mafia don Murshid Pathan in the show, Kay Kay Menon said, "Portraying Murshid Pathan in this intense gangster thriller has been a thrilling experience. I’ve always been fascinated by complex characters." During the trailer release, Kay Kay mentioned that it only hinted at the depth of his character's journey. In his opinion, Murshid is the tale of a father's sacrifice for his family.

The narrative of the gangster drama revolves around the dangerous underworld of Mumbai. The story revolves around Kay Kay's retired don who is forced to make a comeback into the criminal fray when his son is implicated in a deadly conspiracy.

Produced by Sachin Bansal and Sandip Patel, Murshid started streaming on ZEE5 on August 30. The gangster drama stars Kay Kay Menon, Tanuj Virwani and Zakir Hussain in important roles.
