This afternoon, Sara Ali Khan addressed a press conference where she spoke at length about how she felt being a part of the film. Also, she expressed how she felt working on a mystery thriller for the first time professionally.
“Firstly, I hope you all (media persons) liked the trailer. I just feel privileged, thankful and grateful for the opportunity to work with Homi (Ajadania; filmmaker) sir in this film. I think it is a new kind of film. I have never worked in this genre before. I really enjoyed working on the film. Also, I did learn a lot of new things about life. I am grateful to work with such well-established people. Gratitude,” said Sara at the presser.
Taking about her experience of working in a mystery thriller for the first time, Sara further detailed that it is obvious that if a murder has taken place, then there must be a killer. “What is exciting is the fact that nobody could guess the killer by just looking at the trailer. But beyond this fact is a world which Homi sir invited viewers to. This world is so wholesome, funny, and interesting. It is a new take on the mystery thrillers,” she said.
Murder Mubarak, an upcoming thriller on Netflix, is based on Anuja Chauhan's novel Club You To Death. Homi Adajania directed it, while Dinesh Vijan produced it. The film features a renowned cast: Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhail Nayyar. Murder Mubarak premieres on March 15, 2024, and promises to keep viewers captivated with its intriguing story and exceptional acting.
