Helmed by Homi Adajania, Murder Mubarak is a multi-star crime drama film that promises to keep the audience hooked to the screens. Revolving around a crime, the film aims to unveil the gruesome realities of the rich while navigating through complex human emotions and bonds.

Trailer

The makers of Murder Mubarak recently dropped the trailer giving a glimpse into the life of each character and showcasing their rich environment. Their life gets toppled when one of them gets murdered and the others become the suspects in the case. Pankaj Tripathi enters the scene as the police officer, who tries to unmask these people and solve the crime mystery. In the process, he unravels hidden secrets and comes across complex human bonds.

Plot

The plot of the film revolves around a murder that takes place in a club and other high-profile members of the club become the suspects in the case. With this crime mystery, the film aims to give us a message that a criminal could be one among us, somebody we know and sometimes, somebody whom we love!

Cast

Directed by Homi Adajania, Murder Mubarak stars Karisma Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Aashim Gulati. Produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films, the film has been written by Gazal Dhaliwal and Suprotim Sengupta.

Release date

The multi-star film, Murder Mubarak, is all set to make its world premiere on March 15 on Netflix. The film is reportedly based on Anuja Chauhan's crime thriller novel, Club You To Death.

Karisma on Murder Mubarak

Speaking about her role in the film, Karisma said, “She is an actress, a dream girl. She’s very real. She’s very quirky and eccentric, but real. She’s very human, and that’s what I found really intriguing and different, because that was Homi’s main thing—that she may be a bit over the top, but she has her way. So, I really like that aspect.”
