Lakshmi, the veteran actress, also played a key role in this film, which was made on a budget of Rs 5 crore and made over Rs 10 crore at the box office. Devi Prasad and Rama Lingeswara Rao produced the film. Murari showcases Mahesh Babu as a village guy, and his performance is appreciated a lot.
