Munawar Faruqui was asked about Elvish Yadav’s arrest in the snake venom case. The Bigg Boss 17 winner however refused to leave any comment in the matter. Munawar also gave his reason why he would rather not talk about the matter at the given point of time. It is to be noted that while Munawar and Elvish’s fans were constantly at each other’s throats for the longest time, the two met and shared a hug at an ISPL 2024 match, which sent out a message to their fans to stop fighting and start embracing brotherhood.
Munawar’s reaction to Elvish’s arrest
When asked to comment on Elvish’s arrest in the snake venom case, Munawar told IWM Buzz that he was unaware about the situation till media informed him. He said his phone died because the battery was low and promised to check the news.

When informed about the interrogation, Munawar refused to comment without having full knowledge in the matter. He said that he would have checked on social media but since his phone turned off, he cannot do so.

During an ISPL match, Munawar and Elvish shared a hug. The photo went viral on the internet instantly. This happened even though they were both rooting for different teams. While Munawar was rooting for Khiladi XI, Elvish cheered for Master XI. They posed for a selfie, shared a hug and bonded during the opening match. This gesture left fans surprised, who could not stop talking about it on the internet and trended the photos as well as videos on all social media platforms.
