Netflix has announced a new crime documentary that follows the real-life stories of the crime world inside Mumbai in the 1990s. The makers have released the poster of Mumbai Mafia: Police vs The Underworld and also announced the release date of the movie.
The official synopsis of the latest film says that during the 1990s a crime boss in the underbelly of Mumbai along with his organised groups and networks wield unchecked power over the city, while later becoming the main target of the encounter specialists in the city.
The makers released an interesting poster of the latest documentary that appears all vintage with a collage of images featuring a few gangsters and a big old image of young Dawood Ibrahim.
On Thursday, the OTT giant shared the first poster of Mumbai Mafia: Police vs The Underworld with an interesting caption on its official Instagram handle that reads, "From the underbelly to the high-rise cityscape of Mumbai, organised crime in the 90s truly exploded.
Witness the Police and the mafia come face to face in this true crime documentary-Mumbai Mafia, streaming tomorrow, only on Netflix. #MumbaiMafia (sic)."

The latest crime documentary is backed by Morgan Matthews and Sophie Jones under the banner of Minnow Films and is directed by Francis Longhurst and Raaghav Dar.
Dar has earlier directed films like Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu starrer action thriller movie- Lamhaa, and a musical drama named My Friend Pinto starring Kalki Koechlin and Prateik Babbar.
Mumbai Mafia: Police vs The Underworld has already been released on January 6, 2023 and is now available to stream on Netflix in both Hindi and English languages.
