Mugdha Agarwal is one of the protagonists of the love triangle Unsorted, along with Vikram Bhui and Tanya Singh Bhatnagar
Actress Mughda Agarwal, who plays the female protagonist in the recently-released web series Unsorted, explains that as an actress, she wants to play characters that are relatable, yet inspiring. The show is a love triangle and a not-so-perfect love story between three people.
Talking about her character in the show, Mugdha said, "As an actor, it is important for me to attach myself to characters that are relatable yet inspiring, and Tara fit the bill perfectly." She added that her character Tara is someone who is confident and hardworking, but feels insecure about her relationships.
Rahul Bhatnagar, the writer, director and producer of Unsorted, said, "The so-called celebrated love stories that we see on the silver screen have influenced us to believe that romantic relationships in real life are meant to be all fair and gaudy. This is exactly the notion that we want to break with our web series." Rahul sees the show as an opportunity to connect with the larger audience.
Tanya Singh Bhatnagar, who plays the other female lead in the love triangle, said, "My character Seher is a reflection of how one cannot judge a book by its cover. While on the outside she seems to be intelligent and mature, deep down, her past experiences still influence her ability to trust people."
The story of the show revolves around three characters: Tara, Naman and Sehar. While Tara and Naman are in a relationship and are giong through a rough patch, matters worsen when Tara finds Naman getting closer to his beautiful colleague, Seher.
Unsorted is available to stream on OTTplay and Disney+ Hotstar.
