The film starring Sumanth Ashwin and Meher Chahal was initially slated to release for Sankranthi
Director, producer MS Raju is a busy man these days. While he wrapped the shoot of his directorial 7 Days 6 Nights many months ago, he has marched onto another project, Sathi - both starring his son Sumanth Ashwin in the lead. In fact, Sathi’s intriguing first look opened to good responses all over. Now, after a flurry of delays, 7 Days 6 Nights has a theatrical release date.
The makers of 7 Days 6 Nights have announced that the film will hit theatres on June 24. The modern-day romance is produced by Wild Honey Production and presented by Sumanth Art Productions. Sumanth Ashwin, Meher Chahal, Rohan, Krithika Shetty, Sushma and Rishika Bali play crucial roles in the film.
7 Days 6 Nights has been shot across picturesque locations in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Udipi, Gokarna and Goa. Sumanth Ashwin and the producer J Srinivasa Raju are confident that the film will meet the audience’s expectations, especially after MS Raju’s surprise hit Dirty Hari last year. The film will connect with the youth, and has a terrific music score and exquisite visuals, they add.
Director MS Raju said that the team had been waiting for the right release date for long, despite acquiring the first copy. “Our desire was to reach many audiences post the pandemic and we hope to do that with the new release date. The film will be a joy ride along with family and friends. The story, screenplay, dialogues, visuals and music are the major highlights,” he shared.
Samarth Gollapudi composes the music for the film cinematographed by Nani Chamidisetty, and edited by Junaid Siddiqui. Bhaskar Mudavath is the production designer.
