Ms. Marvel teaser: Farhan Akhtar’s look from the MCU show revealed in latest video - watch

Farhan Akhtar and Fawad Khan are part of Marvel’s latest series, which is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Ms. Marvel, MCU’s latest series on Disney+ has captured the attention of Indians from around the globe. The makers have now released a new teaser for the show, which gives us the first look at Farhan Akhtar’s character from the series.

“What you seek, is seeking you”, says Farhan Akhtar’s mysterious character in the latest teaser. We also get a glimpse of him in the video, as the filmmaker is seen wearing a rather colourful robe. Akhtar’s character’s name from the show is Waleed, but not much else is available about the role.

While we get no further look at the character in the video, one would assume that his role will be instrumental in the lead character’s life from the looks of it.

Ms. Marvel, which follows Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani-American Muslim superheroine who grows to protecting the streets of Jersey City, has a number of Asian actors. Apart from Akhtar, the show will also star Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Iman Vellani as Kamala.

Ms. Marvel also features Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Zenobia Shroff, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Adaku Ononogbo, Alysia Reiner, Azhar Usman, Mehwish Hayat, Samina Ahmed, Laurel Marsden, Arian Moayed, Laith Nakli, Nimra Bucha, Travina Springer and Aramis Knight.

In another video release by the makers, Iman Vellani can be seen talking about Akhtar. Calling him a “fascinating person”, Vellani also reveals that she has seen Akhtar’s film, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. The young actor also said that it was an amazing experience working with the filmmaker.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah have led the directing team of the show, which will take Kamala into the upcoming MCU movie, The Marvels. The movie will be a sequel to Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel.

The first episode of Ms. Marvel is now available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar.
