Mrunal Thakur bags yet another biggie after her hit debut film Sita Raman

Mrunal Thakur made a sensational debut in Telugu cinema with the film Sita Ramam. Starring Dulquer Salman as the main lead, this film gave Mrunal a solid launch in Tollywood. Mrunal's performance was appreciated big time and now she is one of the most sought after actresses in Telugu and will next be seen in Nani's next film which is nearing its completion.

As per the latest update, Mrunal has been roped in to play the female lead in Vijay Deverakonda's new film that will be directed by Parasuram. As the female lead's role is quite important and is performance oriented, Parasuram felt Mrunal Thakur will be a perfect choice and cast her in the film. Talks have reached an advanced stage and Mrunal will soon sign the line.

Mrunal, in many of her interviews has said that she would love to do a film with Vijay Deverakonda and her dream has now finally come true. The said film is a romantic drama which will have a very unique backdrop of romance and family drama. Mrunal is also being paid big bucks for this film as per the news.

On the other hand, Vijay Deverakonda is busy giving finishing touches to his latest film Khushi which has been in the making for a long time now. As the female lead of the film, Samantha fell sick, the shoot was halted for over six months. Shiva Nirvana has directed this film which is yet another romantic drama.

Going back in time, it was Parasuram who gave Vijay Deverakonda the first hit of his career with Geetha Govindam. Parasuram was also supposed to make a sequel to Geetha Govindam but things did not materialize and he has moved to this new film with Vijay. We need to see what kind of chemistry Mrunal and Vijay will create on screen.
