Ravi Teja teamed up with Harish Shankar after a very long time and that is also one of the reasons, Mr. Bachchan was eagerly awaited. The makers decided to release the film with yet another biggie, Double Ismart, and both films came out on August 15, 2024.
The makers were so confident that they aired special premieres a day in advance. All this did not help the film one bit and Mr. Bachchan failed big time at the box office. The makers played a clever game ahead of the release and sold the digital rights to Netflix for a whopping amount of Rs 33 crore.
