Moon Moon Sen on Bharat Dev Varma: He protected our lives

Moon Moon Sen is shattered by the passing of her husband Bharat Dev Varma.

Evidently, Moon Moon Sen is devastated by the death of her husband Bharat Dev Varma. Her two daughters, Raima and Riya, are also mourning. Bharat fell ill on Tuesday morning. Promptly, a private hospital in Dhakuria was notified. But before the ambulance came, he breathed his last. Moon Moon and Raima were in Delhi at that time. They came back to Kolkata at 4 pm on Tuesday. Riya was with her father at their Kolkata place.  

Moon Moon told the media, "He protected everyone. Now our lives will be changed." Raima said, "I will definitely feel his absence. I regret not being with him when he passed."  

Bharat hails from the royal family of Tripura. He got married to Moon Moon Sen in 1978. Raima was born within a year and Riya in 1981. Moon Moon started her acting career after her two daughters were born. She became a heartthrob in the eighties and worked in both Bengali and Hindi movies.  

Moon Moon Sen became an MP in 2014 when she won the Bankura constituency as the TMC candidate. Bharat was by his wife's side all through the period. 

Bharat had his birthday on September 28. Raima shared several of his photos on social media and wrote that he fulfilled their dreams. She thanked him for being a light-hearted and lovely person. She put a hashtag and wrote 'Best dad ever'. She also labeled her father as the 'Original Rockstar'.
