Mollywood superstar Mohanlal to reveal the release date teaser of Vikrant Rona’s Malayalam version

The release date teaser of Kiccha Sudeep's next is being unveiled in all languages on April 2, on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi.

Third time, it would seem, is definitely the charm for Kiccha Sudeep’s upcoming fantasy-action-adventure drama Vikrant Rona. The pan-Indian film directed by Anup Bhandari was earlier supposed to release in August last year and then February, which was pushed ahead owing to the third wave of the pandemic and the uncertainty about 100% occupancy in theatres. But with pretty much everything returning to normalcy in the time since, fans and industry insiders have been waiting with bated breath to know when Vikrant Rona will release, especially since most of the other biggies from neighbouring states have already come or will do so in the near future. Several Kannada films are still awaiting news on Vikrant Rona plans to finalize their release dates.

Earlier this week, the team of Vikrant Rona had announced that a teaser that will reveal the film’s release date would drop on April 2 at 9.55 am and as has been the trend in recent times, they too are enlisting friends from neighbouring industries to do the honours for the teaser launch in various languages.

Sudeep, who has a good rapport with a lot of stars across industries owing to his work and his stint as the captain of the Sandalwood cricket team at the Celebrity Cricket League, has enlisted Mollywood superstar Mohanlal, who led the Malayalam team at this tournament, to release the release date teaser on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi on Saturday.

Vikrant Rona has been produced by Manjunath Gowda of Shalini Artss, in association with Alankar Pandian of Invenio Films.
