Mohanlal's L360 is expected to get an Onam 2024 release
Mohanlal is busy in his acting career and has some highly promising projects in his kitty. The Malayalam superstar is teaming up with Tharun Moorthy, the Operation Java-fame director for his 360th project. The movie, which has been tentatively titled L360, started rolling in April 2024. Mohanlal is reuniting with celebrated actress Shobana for the film, which is touted to be a family entertainer. Reportedly, the official first look and title of L360 will be unveiled soon.
L360 first look and title to be released on Mohanlal’s birthday
If the recent updates are to be believed, the official title and first look of the upcoming Tharun Moorthy directorial will be revealed soon. The recent updates suggest that the makers of L360 are planning to reveal the official title of the film, along with its first-look poster featuring Mohanlal, on May 21, 2024, on the special occasion of the superstar’s 64th birthday. In that case, it is safe to assume that Mohanlal fans are in for a treat on May 21, Tuesday.
Mohanlal’s character in L360
For the uninitiated, Mohanlal is set to play the role of a taxi driver named Shanmugham, from the Ranni locality of Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district in L360. Interestingly, the superstar’s character shares a deep attachment with his old ambassador car and reportedly suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Shobana, the veteran actress who is making a comeback to films after a short gap, is said to be playing the wife of the protagonist in the film.

L360 is scripted by director Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil. Along with Mohanlal and Shobana, the highly anticipated film features a massive star cast including Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Binu Pappu, and others in the supporting roles. Jakes Bejoy is composing the songs and original score. Shaji Kumar handles the cinematography. L360 is bankrolled by M Renjith, under the popular banner Rejaputhra Films.
