Mohanlal wraps up L360 first schedule; to join the sets of L2 Empuraan soon?

Mohanlal is busy in his career with some promising projects in the pipeline. The Malayalam superstar recently wrapped up the prolonged first schedule of his 360th film. The movie, which is tentatively titled L360, is directed by Operation Java fame director Tharun Moorthy. Reportedly, the veteran actor is now set to resume the shooting of L2 Empuraan, the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial. Meanwhile, in a recent chat with a leading Malayalam media, Mohanlal opened up about L360 and revealed why the project is special.
Mohanlal reveals L360 is a special film
The Malayalam superstar, who is all excited about L360, stated that it is one of those films that he felt a special love for. According to Mohanlal, every film feels like the first film, even though he is about to complete the 47th year of his acting career. The veteran actor also revealed that it is the reason why a few films like L360 feel extra close to his heart. Interestingly, Mohanlal added that he is feeling a little sad as he leaves the sets of the Tharun Moorthy directorial for the schedule break.
The superstar further added that he can’t wait to get back to the sets of L360, for the next schedule. As per the reports, the next schedule of the much-awaited untitled film, which stars veteran actress Shobana as the female lead will start rolling by mid-August. The movie, which is jointly penned by Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil, is expected to hit the theatres by the end of October 2024, as an Ayudha Pooja special release.

Mohanlal to resume L2: Empuraan soon?
If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal is not taking a break after wrapping up the first schedule of L360. The superstar is set to resume the shooting of L2: Empuraan, the upcoming Lucifer sequel directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, in a couple of days. As per the reports, the veteran actor is set to join the ongoing Gujarat schedule of the film, where he is expected to shoot the combination scenes with popular actor Tovino Thomas. More updates on the same are expected to be out, very soon.
