Mohanlal, who has worked with Blessy in films such as Thanmathra and Bhramaram, extended his warm wishes to the director for his upcoming film Aadujeevitham
At the audio launch event of Prithviraj Sukumaran’s upcoming survival drama Aadujeevitham, superstar Mohanlal heaped praise on the makers of the film. The actor, who graced the occasion on March 10, highlighted the film’s tagline ‘Every breath is a battle’ on the poster and said it was a beautiful phrase.
“First of all, I would like to point out the beautiful phrase below the title of the film– ‘Every breath is a battle’. Ever since the shooting of the film commenced, I know a little about what went behind the making of the film. When the makers of the film were facing difficulties during COVID, I was able to contact them. I believe that the breath of every cast and crew member is present in the film. Their prayers are there in this movie", the superstar said

Heaping praise on director Blessy, Mohanlal revealed his admiration for the director’s work. ‘I would like to extend my best wishes to Blessy, who directed some of the most special films of my career – Thanmathra, Bhramaram and Pranayam. We had even worked on a 48-hour-long documentary 100 Years of Chrysostom, which earned both of us a name in the Guiness Book of World Records. Blessy does what is often deemed impossible. And I wish that all his prayers come true,” the actor revealed.
Mohanlal also remarked on the director’s passion for making beautiful films. “Blessy began his career with my film under Padmarajan’s direction, Namukku Parkkan Munthirithoppukal, and has worked in many of my films since then. Here, many call him (Blessy) a cruel man (laughs). But I think to attain success one has to struggle, which cannot be called cruel, but rather a pursuit to attain perfection. And I thank Blessy for making such a wonderful film,” the actor added.
Directed by Blessy, the Prithiviraj-starrer has Amala Paul playing the female lead. AR Rahman has composed the songs and original score for the project. Sunil KS is the director of photography. Sreekar Prasad handled the editing. The survival drama is slated to hit the big screens in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The Malayalam movie is set to have a grand theatrical release on March 28.
