Mohanlal on being 'approachable' to young directors

The Neru star stressed that he is supportive and approachable to aspiring filmmakers. However, he continued, the scripts should not draw inspiration from his earlier films. "Should one deviate from this kind of influence, I would unquestionably work on it. Take the movie on which I am currently collaborating with Tharun Moorthy. It is a distinctive tale that took eight years to come to life," he remarked.

Mohanlal on plans to work on Varshangalkku Shesham

In response to a question concerning his connection with actor Sreenivasan, Mohanlal stated that they still share a cordial bond. He revealed that in his most recent directorial, Varshangalkku Shesham, Vineeth Sreenivasan had intended to bring them back. "Me and Sreenivasan were supposed to play the older versions of Murali Viswambaran and Venu Koothuparambu (played by Pranav Mohanlal and Dhyan Sreenivasan respectively)," he claimed. Unfortunately, Sreenivasan's health condition altered the plans.
