Mohanlal, Aashirvad Cinemas’ massive line-up: Major updates to be out on THIS date?

Mohanlal and Aashirvad Cinemas, the production banner headlined by Antony Perumbavoor, are stepping into a new phase with a massive line-up of projects in 2025.

Mohanlal is going through a tough phase in his acting career, after the massive failure of Malaikottai Vaaliban, and his directorial debut Barroz. However, the superstar is all set to bounce back in 2025, with some promising projects, in his kitty. Mohanlal is teaming up with Antony Perumbavoor’s Aashirvad Cinemas for some promising projects, next year. Reportedly, the veteran actor and the production banner are set to make massive announcements on January 25, 2025.

Mohanlal, Aashirvad Cinemas to drop major updates on January 25, 2025?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Mohanlal and Aashirvad Cinemas, who announced their massive slate for 2025, are gearing up to surprise the cinephiles, soon. According to the grapevine, the legendary superstar and production banner are planning to drop official updates on their five new projects, including the Sathyan Anthikad directorial Hridayapoorvam on January 25, 2025. For the uninitiated, the big updates will be revealed as a part of Aashirvad Cinemas’ 25-year celebrations.

Mohanlal’s rumoured projects

Along with Hridayapoorvam, Mohanlal and Aashirvad Cinemas are expected to announce four more projects on January 25, 2025. The rumoured list includes the much-awaited 100th directorial venture of senior filmmaker Priyadarshan, the upcoming Jeethu Joseph directorial, Mohanlal and Blessy’s untitled project, and a surprise project on the special occasion. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that the superstar and team might also announce the long-awaited third part of Drishyam, which has been titled Drishyam 3, on the same day.

Mohanlal’s other upcoming films

As you may know, Mohanlal will be next seen in Thudarum directed by Tharun Moorthy. The upcoming family drama film, which marks the superstar’s reunion with Shobana, is slated to hit the theatres on January 30, 2025. Later, Mohanlal will make a grand comeback to the big screens with the upcoming Prithviraj Sukumaran directorial, L2 Empuraan. The long-awaited Lucifer sequel is gearing up to hit the theatres, on March 27, 2025. Mohanlal is also in talks with Jithu Madhavan, the Aavesham director, for a mass action comedy.
