Mohandas teaser: Vishnu Vishal looks intense in the slickly cut video of this thriller flick

As announced earlier, the Kaithi duo, actor Karthi and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, has unveiled the much-expected teaser of Mohandas, starring Vishnu Vishal in the titular role. Billed as a thriller, the two-minute video offers a sneak peek into the movie's story which comes across as quite a complex one.

It is the narrative style, making and effective dialogues which makes the teaser impressive. The teaser begins with a voiceover about a short story featuring a hungry lion and a deer staying in a forest, and compares them with two characters, played by Vishnu and Aishwarya Rajesh, in the film.

Going by the teaser, Vishnu's role seems to have multiple layers to it; how and why the character takes to revenge mode forms the film's crux. Indrajith, Karunakaran, Lallu, Prakash Raghavan and Shariq Hassan play important characters in the movie which has been helmed by Murali Karthick of Kalavu fame.

Vignesh Rajagopalan and Kripakaran have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which has music composed by Sundaramurthy KS. Leading action choreographers Anbariv have composed stunt scenes for the project which is expected to release in theatres later this year. Aravind Murali has penned dialogues for the film along with the director.

Vishnu Vishal himself has bankrolled Mohandas which has the actor-producer essaying a role with grey shades for the first time in his career. His last outing, FIR (streaming on Amazon Prime Video), which was released a month ago, too, was produced by him.

While Karthi expressed happiness in unveiling the movie's teaser, Lokesh, wrote along with his post, "Looks solid! Let the winning streak continue." The makers had earlier released a video from Vishnu's workout session for the movie. He made a ripped physique to play his character, which according to him, is a suspense-filled role.
