The magazine has mentioned that Mohan has approached Fahadh Faasil to play a character in his next outing, and that the actor has blocked his contact number owing to displeasure over the narrated subject. However, the director says that the news is completely untrue.
He says, "Generally, I don't respond to rumours. But this time, I have been getting queries from many people over the truth involved with regard to this matter." Interestingly, the article belongs to a column in which untrue news is published with a clarification that this is done with the intention to generate fun.
Mohan also lambasted the magazine for their selective criticism of films and accused them of targeting people with a caste-oriented mindset. Further, he asked them to write similar fake stories about him linking with even bigger stars if their intention is to have fun.
Mohan's last outing was Bakasuran, starring Selvaraghavan in the lead. The movie faced severe criticism from most of the media for its regressive message. The movie generated a little hype before release, but ended up as a failure at the box office.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil has garnered several fans in Tamil Nadu after the release of Maamannan on Netflix recently. The memes and trolls featuring his character in the movie left netizens divided.
