Mohabbatein actress Preeti Jhangiani's husband Parvin Dabas recently met with a car accident. A day after his hospitalization, the actress shared his health update.

Mohabbatein actress Preeti Jhangiani's husband Parvin Dabas met with a major car accident in the early hours of Saturday (September 21). Dabas was immediately to the ICU in a Mumbai hospital. After Parvin's hospitalization, his wife Preeti spoke for the first time about the unfortunate incident. She also shared his health update. In an interview with Hindustan Times, Preeti revealed her husband will stay in the hospital for another week but will be out of the ICU soon.

Speaking with HT, Preeti Jhangiani said her family is still emotionally coping with this incident. The Mohbbatein actress mentioned it is disturbing for everyone to see Parvin lying on the bed and not being his active self. Jhangiani added that her husband has signs of a concussion - 'dizziness, double vision, drowsiness, and nausea.'

"He hasn’t been able to speak too much. Thankfully, his medical reports — MRI and CT scan — were clear. He will stay in the hospital for another week and will be out of ICU soon. We will do another CT scan in three days," she revealed.

How did Parvin Dabas' car accident happen?

In the same conversation, Preeti revealed how the car accident occurred. The actress said Parvin was driving early in the morning after working all night. "A flash of headlights caused him to crash the car into the divider. Luckily, he was close to the hospital and two boys brought him in," she added. Dabas sustained severe injuries due to the accident.

Jhangiani further clarified that her husband wasn't 'drinking and driving'. That possibility has been ruled out in the police report after Parvin's toxicology test. She stated that her partner is against drinking while driving or violating any rules.

For those who are unaware, Preeti and Parvin got married on March 23, 2008. It was reportedly followed by the couple hosting a reception party on March 25 of the same year.
