Modern Love Mumbai is gearing up for its OTT release soon. The upcoming anthology series will consist of six parts, consisting of different standalone stories. Fatima Sana Shaikh stars in the episode, titled Raat Rani, helmed by Shonali Bose. The actress recently shared a BTS photo from the series shoot, and talked about how much the show meant to her.
Shaikh made the post on her official social media handles. The BTS photo saw Shaikh in character as Laali, with a clapboard in front of her. In the caption of the post, the actress talked about how ‘special’ Raat Rani was to her and thanked the makers for her character. The caption reads, “Raat rani is so special to me.Releasing on 13th may on amazon #Raat rani #Modern love @shonalibose_ @maniyar.nilesh. Thank you for giving me laali”.

Baai, My Beautiful Wrinkles, Mumbai Dragon, I Love Thane and Cutting Chai are the rest of the episodes featuring in the anthology. The upcoming series features episodes, directed by Hansal Mehta, Shonali Bose, Vishal Bhardwaj, Alankrita Shrivastava, Dhruv Sehgal and Nupur Asthana.
In addition to Shaikh, the show also stars Tanuja, Pratik Gandhi and Ranveer Brar, Bhupendra Jadawat, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Sarika, Danesh Razvi, Ahsaas Channa, Tanvi Azmi, Masaba Gupta, Ritwik Bhowmik, Prateik Babbar, Aadar Malik, Dolly Singh, Chitrangda Singh and Arshad Warsi. The series is the Indian adaptation of the popular American web show Modern Love, which is based on The New York Times column of the same name. The Indian adaptations of the show also include Modern Love Chennai (Tamil) and Modern Love Hyderabad (Telugu).
Modern Love Mumbai will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from May 13.
