Mammootty and Mohanlal, the iconic superstars of Malayalam cinema are gearing up to share the screen yet again, in 2025. The veteran actors are joining hands for editor-filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan’s upcoming project. The movie, tentatively titled MMMN, started rolling in Sri Lanka, a few weeks back. As per the latest updates, Mammootty, Mahesh Narayanan, and the team have now shifted to Azerbaijan, to commence the new schedule of their ambitious project.

According to the recent updates, Mammootty, director Mahesh Narayanan, and the MMMN crew jetted off to Azerbaijan, to kickstart the new schedule of the much-awaited upcoming project. As per the reports, the cast and crew of the upcoming Mammootty-Mohanlal starrer will go on floors in Baku, Azerbaijan, very soon. The megastar’s selfie with actor-filmmaker Major Ravi, and the veteran actor’s latest videos from the airport, are now going viral on social media.

As reported earlier, Mammootty, who plays the lead role in the film, has reportedly allotted around 100 days of call sheet for the upcoming Mahesh Narayanan directorial. Mohanlal, who plays a full-fledged role in the untitled film, is planning to wrap up his portions in the film in less than 40 days. The superstar wrapped up his portions in the previous Sri Lanka schedule, in less than six days. Mammootty and Mohanlal’s combination scenes are said to be the biggest highlights of the film.
MMMN cast and crew: Here’s what we know
As mentioned before, Mammootty is playing the central character in MMMN, which stars Mohanlal in a pivotal role. Fahadh Faasil and Kunchacko Boban are also playing key roles in the Mahesh Narayanan directorial, which reportedly features Nayanthara as the female lead. Darshana Rajendran, Revathy, Siddique, Renji Panicker, and others are part of the film’s star cast. Manush Nandan, the popular Bollywood cinematographer is making his Malayalam cinema debut with the project. The entire filming of the Mahesh Narayanan directorial is expected to be wrapped up in a time span of over six months.
