Mithya 2: Will Rhea take revenge and destroy Juhi's family? Watch new promo

Huma Qureshi and Avantika Dassani's Mithya season 2 was recently announced. The makers of the web series dropped the first poster of Mithya 2 on social media. After the first season's success, Mithya was renewed for a second season. Huma will return as Juhi Adhikari while Avantika will reprise the role of Rhea Rajguru. On the occasion of Dussehra, ZEE5 dropped a new promo of Mithya 2 and hinted at new twists and turns in the story.

In the latest promo of Mithya 2, Avantika Dassani wishes everyone a Happy Dussehra. She further drops a big question about her character Rhea and Huma's Juhi in the series. "Kya Juhi ke life mein hogi achayi ki jeet?," asks Avantika. It is followed by the actress wondering if her character Rhea will successfully take revenge and destroy Juhi's family.

While sharing this promo on Instagram, the streaming platform wrote, "The result of this battle between good and evil can only be found in Mithya’s new season Happy Dussehra MithyaNewSeason coming soon only on ZEE5! (sic)."

In an official statement, as per Television Asia Plus, Huma Qureshi spoke about returning as Juhi in Mithya 2. "Returning as the half-sister in Mithya Season 2 has been an exhilarating journey. The complexity of my character and the dynamics with Avantika’s character have evolved so much, and I can’t wait for our audience to witness the drama and intensity this season promises," she said.

On the other hand, Avantika added, "I’m excited to step back into this world with Huma. Season 2 takes our characters to unexpected places, and the layers of tension and emotion are unlike anything we’ve done before."
