Helmed by Rohan Sippy, Mithya was released in 2022 and starred Huma Qureshi in the lead role. The show, which is now gearing up for its second season was appreciated by the viewers. With its compelling storytelling and surprising turns and twists, the project was much talked about. The Zee5 show not only garnered praise for its performance but also left fans wanting another season and now there's a new update on the show as one more brilliant actor has now joined the cast of the show.
Naveen Kasturia roped in for Mithya Season 2
Naveen Kasturia, who is known for his performances in TVF Aspirants, TVF Pitchers, Kota Factory, and more has now joined the cast of Mithya Season 2. The psychological thriller drama is produced by Applause Entertainment and Rose Audio Visual. According to a reliable source by iwmbuzz, “Naveen Kasturia will play an engaging role, something which will be different.” However, no official announcement of the same has been made yet.
Well, it will be interesting to watch what will Naveen's character add to the already gripping show with the versatility of his acting.

Meanwhile, for the uninitiated, the first season of Mithya stars Huma Qureshi, Avantika Dassani, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajit Kapur, and Samir Soni in pivotal roles. The show is adapted from the British television show titled Cheat and is set against the backdrop of Darjeeling where the story unfolds with multiple twists and turns in the plethora of lies and secrets.
Huma began shooting for the show a few months back. She also announced the same on her social media by sharing a video which she captioned - “And it begins …. #Mithya Season 2 @roseaudiovisuals @applausesocial @zee5 #love #actorslife Thank you for the love I get for #Juhi. Wish us luck for season 2 of this very loved show.”
