Mithya The Darker Chapter, starring Huma Qureshi, recently had its digital premiere. The second season was made after the first season's success in 2022. Huma was seen alongside Avantika Dassani in the series. In Mithya season two, Huma reprises her character of Juhi Adhikari but faces new challenges. A new promo of Mithya The Darker Chapter highlights Huma aka Juhi getting mired in a controversy.

ZEE5 dropped a thrilling new promo of Mithya The Darker Chapter on social media. The new promo features Rajit Kapur's Anand Tyagi calling Huma Qureshi's Juhi 'his pride'. He further learns that his daughter is falsely accused of plagiarism. Huma's character breaks down after she faces false allegations by Naveen Kasturia's Amit Chaudhary.

While sharing the promo on Instagram, the streaming platform wrote, "Two daughters. One revenge plan. Countless lies. What will this father choose? Watch MithyaTheDarkerChapter now streaming, only on ZEE5! (sic)."

Huma Qureshi on prepping for Juhi Adhikari's role

In an interview with Firstpost, Huma revealed how she prepared for her character Juhi Adhikari in Mithya season 2. "By the time I started doing season 2, she was already in my bones. So I didn’t have to put in that kind of physical time. I think for me, the important thing is to make her this really cool Hindi professor when she goes to work. But at the same time, it’s not a cliché of what a Hindi professor will be in cinema. I had some really cool teachers like that when I have grown up," she said.

Directed by Kapil Sharma, Mithya The Darker Chapter features Avantika Dassani as Rhea Rajguru while Rushad Rana is seen as Vikas. Produced by Applause Entertainment and Rose Audio Visuals, Mithya season two is streaming on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium.
