Mithun Chakraborty is likely to be seen in Housefull 5 soon
Mithun Chakraborty got admitted in Apollo Hospital in Kolkata after suffering a stroke on Saturday, February 10. He felt weakness in his right upper and lower limbs along with severe chest pain. Thus, the actor had to be hospitalized immediately. It was then revealed that he suffered from Ischemic Cerebrovascular Stroke. The latest update we get that the actor is now quite stable and can be discharged after certain formalities.
Health update
The 73-year-old actor, according to a report on PTI, is ‘quite stable’ and is recovering well. An official said, “He is recuperating well, is fully conscious, well-oriented, active, and has consumed a soft diet.” In a recent video making the rounds, Mithun could be seen lying on the bed with drips attached to his arm for treatment.

When will he get discharge?
The one question everybody has is, when will Mithun get discharge from the hospital? “He will undergo certain investigations before his discharge,” the official informed on the same. The actor’s MRI and other medical tests are completed and thus, if all other test results are as hoped for, he can be discharged soon.

On the work front
Mithun Chakraborty was honoured the Padma Bhushan award in January. He had sent across a video message for the same. The actor was seen judging Dance Bangla Dance along with Mouni Roy, Subhashree Ganguly, Srabanti Chatterjee and Puja Banerjee. He had also judged Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan in 2022.
On the movie front, his last release was Kabuliwala, based on a novel of the same name. The actor’s last Bollywood film was The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The movie released in 2022. Mithun is expected to be a part of The Delhi Files, from the universe, too. He is also associated with Housefull 5 and will be seen in the role of Ritesh Deshmukh’s father.
