Mithila Palkar, Dhruv Sehgal's hit series Little Things gets a prequel: 'It’s cuter and more innocent'

The much-loved on-screen couple Dhruv and kavya, who recently won the Best Onscreen Couple on OTT award at the OTTplay Awards 2022, will now be back with a better and 'cuter' version of their love story.

Love is truly in the air!

After winning the Best Couple on OTT award at the recently held OTTplay Awards 2022, the hit pair of Little Things comprising Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal are back with a prequel to their love story: this time, they promise it be to 'similar' yet 'different'.

In an exclusive interview with The Indian Express, the actors revealed a thing or two about 'Little Things: Jab Dhruv Met Kavya', an Audible India Original that will focus on their meet-cute.

Dhruv, during their joint interview with the publication, spoke about the cuteness of the latest installment, which is a prequel to their smash hit Netflix series Little Things, and will have a different format.

“It’s a show about how the two of them met so it’s actually cuter and more innocent in a way. It’s the same story told in a different format but you feel like there is some freshness to it. Also because you just hear so you can imagine more," Dhruv, who has also written and directed the original series, told the media house.

He further elaborated on how the audience will be directing their own versions of the love story as, he feels, “everyone is a director in a way because we are just giving you material to imagine.”

The actor-director, during the course of his interview, also spoke about his excitement around bringing these two characters back to life, saying in part, "It’s a narrative. It is not us looking back, it is us in that particular time... I am so excited that we can bring back the magic of Dhruv and Kavya for the fans, with this incredibly special origin story; In equal parts sweet, nostalgic and so much fun, they’ll find themselves listening to it with a goofy smile on their face."

Commenting on this latest venture, Shailesh Sawlani, VP and Country GM, Audible India, said in a statement, “Little Things is a cult show and we are so excited about giving their fans a new home to visit their favorite couple, here on Audible.
