After being on rent on Prime Video, Mission: Impossible 7 is now available to all subscribers to watch
The spy action movie, starring Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One (MI7), was released in theatres last year and made available for digital rental in India a few weeks back. English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the film will be available to stream on Prime Video starting January 11, 2024.
Yet another deadly face-off
A member of the Impossible Missions Force (IMF) named Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) faces off against a dangerous new weapon called 'The Entity' in Christopher McQuarrie's Mission Impossible 7. The remainder of the plot revolves around his search for the self-aware AI tool that, if misused, may cause chaos.
Mission: Impossible has been Tom Cruise's baby for decades, but the actor's new film plans might spell trouble for the series down the road. Tom Cruise is still one of the world's top movie stars and a valued partner for Paramount Pictures, thanks to the increased popularity of the Mission: Impossible films during the last decade. Top Gun: Maverick's unprecedented 2022 box office triumph further cemented the strength of their alliance. For that reason, the announcement of a new partnership between Tom Cruise and Warner Bros. to develop film projects and new franchises came as a shock.
Will there be MI:8?
Concerns have been sparked that the Mission: Impossible series is instantly doomed due to the announcement of the partnership between Tom Cruise and Warner Bros. Mission: Impossible 8 is still under production, so that can't be true. Part 2 of Mission: Impossible: Dead Reckoning is currently in the middle of production. The film will reportedly continue filming all through 2024 in preparation for its rescheduled 2025 release. It is imperative that Tom Cruise make Mission: Impossible 8 as massive, thrilling, and fulfilling as it can be, even though he is now collaborating with WB on other projects.
Mission: Impossible 8 is the only sequel officially acknowledged to be in production. Both Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie, who has directed Mission: Impossible films for many years, have hinted at the prospect of a ninth instalment in the franchise. Paramount has remained mum on the subject of a ninth instalment. This means that, at this time, spectators can only expect Mission: Impossible 8 and no further instalments in the franchise. However, the film's release may be delayed, thus concluding the two-part storyline initiated by Dead Reckoning.
