Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

Tom Cruise’s much-awaited Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is finally slated for release in India. The movie’s hype is immense and thus, the first day Box Office collection is likely to live up to the hype. It looks like the film will earn over Rs. 10 crores on its opening day.

As per reports on Ormax Media, the movie, which is the seventh installment in the film, will earn Rs. 10.3 crores on its opening day. While some reports claim the film might barely cross Rs. 9.50 crores, what will be interesting is whether this one can break the records set by Vin Diesel’s Fast X.

The Tom Cruise-starrer has a grand release in India, spanning nearly 2000 theatres. It is his widest release in the country, with over 2500 screens. Advanced bookings for the film began two weeks ago. Although they were initially slow, the numbers have grown significantly in the recent days.

According to Pinkvilla, Mission Impossible 7 has already sold over 68,000 tickets in major theatre chains. It is expected that by the time of its release, the movie will likely sell approximately 90,000 tickets within these mentioned chains.

The movie is expected to surpass the ticket sales of other Hollywood releases in India this year. Movies like Fast X and Flash sold around 75,000 and 50,000 tickets respectively. In terms of box office collection, Fast X had an opening of Rs. 12.50 crores and MI 7 is anticipated to earn between Rs. 12 to 14 crores gross on its opening day.
