In short, Mission Impossible 7 has taken India by storm already and though it's too early to comment, it seems that the film is set for something big this time around.
Looks like Tom Cruise and Ethan Hunt are sprinting towards yet another global blockbuster as the initial verdict on Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One emerging from cinemas is unanimously positive. We don't refer to the critics, of course, but the audience out there that has just returned from soaking up everything that the latest MI instalment has thrown at them - from the jaw-dropping thrills to the sheet audacity executed by director Christopher McQuarrie, Tom Cruise and Co.
Of course, this is only one half of the seventh part of the film series but it is apparent already that, collectively, there is something epic in store for film buffs.
Twitter users, especially, aren't shying away from sharing their views on the film and a vast majority of them are dedicated to Cruise's stunts. While Dead Reckoning Part One noticeably brims with action portions, one looked forward to the bone-chilling sequence that has Tom Cruise riding a motorcycle on a ramp and plunging himself into depths of danger. And turns out, there is already a special fanbase for that on Twitter.
"There's no one like him, proper movie star. Gotta watch the movie just for this scene. Tom Cruise you are legend...!!" wrote a user
"The Bike and Train action scenes were just lit.
And if the bike scene wasn't fulfilling enough, one gathers that there is so much of Tom Cruise running in the film that you just cannot take your eyes off him! Here's a few fans describing this aspect of their bigscreen experience
"Tom cruise running at top speed is cinema🛐" writes one user while another claims that Cruise's running style in cinema has a separate fanbase of its own in cinema! Well, hard to argue with that.
In short, Mission Impossible has taken India by storm already and though it's too early to comment, it seems that the film is set for something big this time around.
The previous Mission: Impossible iterations have done great business in India but considering the hype that surrounds Dead Reckoning Part One, it would seem that it will be the first part of the series so far to score more than Rs. 100 crores.
The ensemble cast of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One also includes Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Esai Morales, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny.
