As spy movie fans struggle to contain their fervour as Mission Impossible 7 gets closer to wrapping up, their patient wait was rewarded with a photograph from the film featuring Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell, the leads in the film. The black and white photo, shared by director Christopher McQuarrie, shows the two stars, impeccably dressed, with an intense expression on their face. Cruise is seen sporting a pair of sunglasses, his signature look, and Atwell is seen glancing at the former, her hair down and countenance worried.
The director captioned the post with a thank you note to staff at the Grand Central Station in Birmingham and the Network Rail staff at New Street Station, without whose support he calls filming ‘impossible’.The upcoming film will be Christopher McQuarrie’s third time directing a film in the series, having directed Rogue Nation and Fallout before.
The seventh installment in the world famous series of the action spy movies, Mission Impossible 7 will feature the return of some popular characters in previous films, aiding the hardcore agent Ethan Hunt, portrayed by Tom Cruise, in yet another impossibly difficult mission with high stakes. Hayley Atwell joins the franchise as Grace, whose character has been described as a ‘destructive force’, leaving viewers wondering at her loyalties. In addition to Atwell and Cruise, the film also stars Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Czerny and Esai Morales, among others.
