It has been a while since people have experienced the magic of Bollywood and their stars on a massive scale. Running on nostalgia, Shemaroo Entertainment has decided to start a web series which will solely be dedicated to the ‘(big) screen legends’.

Shemaroo’s OTT app ShemarooMe will present the 200+ web series, which will pay a tribute to one of our most beloved actors with each episode. RJ Adaa will be mimicking the celebrities and their famous styles. She will be recalling anecdotes and landmark moments of the actors/stars.

Not only that, Shemaroo will play memorable movie scenes and clips from their library, exclusively for its viewers. The series will pay tribute to the likes of Dilip Kumar, Madhubala, Rajesh Khanna, Hema Malini, Amitabh Bachchan, Rekha, Rishi Kapoor, Sridevi, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.

Like you would have guessed, the series will be focused on the stars from the early 90s rather than the current generation, so that the young people get a taste of how cinema has evolved over the years.

The audio-visual series is tailored to be enjoyed with the family members. The first 25 episodes, each consisting of 15 minutes, have already been released. The episodes pay tribute to 11 celebrities so far.

Interestingly, Bollywood has also completed 90 years in 2021, making it the perfect time to enjoy the show.

Shemaroo has ventured into various aspects over the years, including regional content. However, entertainment remains the channel’s core passion and they appear to be passing on the same with their venture ‘Screen Legends’.
