Priyanka Chopra's career graph in itself is an inspiration for a lot of women out there. The actress rose to fame after winning the Miss World 2000 title and has been an icon since then. The actress has given us numerous Bollywood hits and has also worked on multiple Hollywood projects. But did you know that when PeeCee won the Miss World title, the speech that won her the prestigious title was factually incorrect?

On March 9, the grand finale of the Miss World beauty pageant was hosted at Jio World Centre in BKC, Mumbai. India's Sini Shetty lost the crown to Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic. To commemorate the occasion, Priyanka Chopra delivered a special message at the event. The actress reflected on the concept of 'beauty with a purpose' in the video as well as praised Julia Morley who is the chairman and CEO of the Miss World organisation.

The actress also lauded Nita Ambani, who received the Beauty With A Purpose Humanitarian Award during the event and highlighted the significance of contributions that these remarkable women made to society.

While the video of Priyanka's speech is widely shared, some eagle eyes netizens dug deep and found out PeeCee's old speech during the last round at the pageant where she was asked, "Who do you think is the most successful woman alive today and why?" To this, the actress answered, "There are a lot of people I admire, but one of the most admirable people is Mother Teresa, who has been so compassionate, considerate, and kind. She has achieved a lot for herself and for other countries. She gave up everything she ever had to make others' life beautiful."

While Priyanka's response won a lot of hearts for praising Mother Teresa and even won her the title, it is to be noted that her answer was factually incorrect as Mother Teresa had passed away in 1997.

On the work front, after starring in Netflix film Love Again and Prime Video's Citadel, Priyanka Chopra is all set to star in Heads of State where she will share screen space with John Cena and Idris Elba. She also has The Bluff alongside Karl Urban in her kitty.
