The second season of Mismatched is focused on a group of misfits from various backgrounds enrolling in a summer program in Jaipur, as seen in the trailer. This group, whose futures are on the line, struggles to genuinely discover themselves as they deal with identity challenges, bullying, mental health issues, and body shaming.

This cast is like a family, and the first season's reception left them all feeling rather overwhelmed. They are appreciative, and since then, the only thing on their minds has been returning with a season that is more powerful, intense, and authentic. They have had a successful relationship with Netflix throughout, so they are thrilled to work with them on yet another project.
Mismatched inject authenticity and honesty into the classic coming-of-age story. Along with a charming cameo from Jugal Hansraj, who plays Rishi's father, the show stars Prajakta Koli, Rohit Saraf, Vihaan Samat, Muskkaan Jaferi, Taaruk Raina, Rannvijay Singha, Vidya Malvade, Kritika Bharadwaj, Abhinav Sharma, and Devyani Shorey, as well as Priya Banerjee, Ahsaas Channa, and Sanjana Sarathy.
