Among the characters which fetched a lot of recognition in Ali Fazal’s career, the one which stood out in recent times undoubtedly is Guddu Bhaiya from Mirzapur. As the whole team now prepares to resume filming for the eagerly awaited third installment, Ali Fazal is preoccupied with his own preparations for bringing his much-celebrated role in an even more interesting manner to the screen.

We hear that the actor has undergone training to understand the fundamentals of wrestling in order to adapt to the requirements for the character.

The previous seasons of the franchise, too, required some action scenes from him, but it looks like the upcoming season will have him performing some intense sequences. Ali is said to be quite thrilled at the developments.

According to a source, "Ali Fazal is currently prepping for the action sequences that are part of the script of the upcoming season. The training is currently underway and he’s been doing this for a few weeks now ahead of the beginning of the shoot which is set to commence soon.”

The source continues to say how Ali is devoting all his energy into his character and has taken the wrestling training quite seriously. Since the series' announcement, fans have been eagerly anticipating its release.

Ali Fazal was recently featured in the international murder thriller Death On The Nile. He will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's Khufiya with Tabu as well as Kandahar with Gerard Butler.
