The Ayush Mehra and Aisha Ahmed-starrer series releases on Lionsgate Play on February 14
Ayush Mehra, who has a pivotal role in the series Minus One: New Chapter feels that there is no shame in a man being vulnerable, but that is not a reality for many.
In the series, actor plays Varun, who goes through heartbreak, which makes him quite vulnerable. When asked what is the one piece of advice that he would like to give to his character Varun, Ayush said, "I would tell Varun to love himself a little more. There are a lot of men who do not express vulnerability. I would also tell him to respect himself a little more, and not pretend in front of the world."
He added that he loves the fact that Varun expresses vulnerability at every stage of life. "Everyone always says things like 'be a man', but here is Varun, who's vulnerable and doesn't hide it. And that's the beauty of the character," Ayush said.
The actor feels that it's okay to be lost and confused, but it's not okay to not love yourself and discard everything one has done in life based on some setbacks. "People will talk about it for a few days, but they will be okay if you are happy," the actor added.
Ayush has also appeared in shows like Operation MBBS and Call My Agent: Bollywood. He has also acted in the film Kacchey Limbu, which stars Radhika Madan.
Created by Sidhantha Mathur and Shubham Yogi, Minus One: New Chapter will stream on Lionsgate Play from February 14.
