Minus One: New Chapter is not the second installment of Minus One, assures Ayush Mehra.
Adding to love stories turned sour (or maybe the opposite?), Minus One: New Chapter promises to show us the extreme sides of love and hate. Ayush Mehra and Aisha Ahmed’s Varun and Ria took us through their journey of on-again-off-again relationship in the first season, Minus One. This time around, things are different. They are extreme.
Those who have followed the show know that while Varun and Ria parted ways and on a bitter note, they decided to be friends. Their decision was beyond anybody’s understanding and definitely put a new perspective to the evergreen question – can exes really be friends?
This time around, Varun and Ria are inseparable. They are madly in love with one another. Till one day the curtains fall. Then, they cannot wait to get as far away from one another as possible. The two are still madly in love, just this time with a new partner.

Anupriya Goenka joins the franchise. She turns Kabir’s lover who creates a rift between what Kabir and Ria used to be.
Much like the trailer already hinted, Minus One: New Chapter, is not the second installment, Ayush clarifies in a media statement. “It's a show about adulting, insecurity, instability, and how to happily let go and still be content,” he adds.
Aisha promises that Minus One: New Chapter is not an episode-wise series but more like a film that you cannot look away from. She also claims that by the end of the show, the viewers will be happy and have a content heart.
Minus One: New Chapter will start streaming on Lionsgate Play and OTTplay Premium app. The show is a Valentines’ Day gift and so, the viewers can experience its magic from February 14.
