Halitha Shameem, who has directed notable films, managed to pull off something that no other Tamil directors have ever attempted. She began shooting her movie Minmini in 2015 with a bunch of youngsters and waited for seven years for them to grow up as a few crucial portions of the film required them to play older versions of them.

The filmmaker made a few movies during the break and all of them managed to entertain viewers. Cinephiles have been waiting to know how she would wrap up Minmini, which she considered as her dream project.

Minmini's first look poster conveys various emotions

She took to social media to post the first look poster of the movie. It conveys several emotions - loneliness, romance, separation, togetherness, compassion - and so on. The movie deals with the lives of a few youngsters who go through complex situations and unexpected problems.

Manoj Paramahamsa, who has cranked the camera for Minmini, has also produced it along with Murali Krishnan. Khatija Rahman composed the music while Esther Anil, Gaurav Kaalai and Pravin Kishore play important characters in the project. Raymond Derrick Crasta is its editor.

A dream come true

It was last year that Halitha resumed shooting for the movie after a seven-year-hiatus. In an earlier chat with OTTplay, the director told us that she would be able to consider herself a complete filmmaker only if she successfully finished this movie.
