Mimi Chakraborty is known to be a kind-hearted and empathetic person. On June 1, the last phase of the poll day of the ongoing General Election in India, the actress yet again put her best foot forward to help others.

Mimi went to cast her vote at Sarada Academy in Kasba. There was a queue. The actress helped an elderly person to cast their vote smoothly. She saw the man waiting to cast his vote. She then called an armed personnel deputed on Election duty and requested them to help the elderly man.

Some days ago Mimi also hailed Ratan Tata’s initiative to treat stray dogs with love. Ratan Tata gave a strict verdict to his workers to make a safe sanctuary for the street animals at his Taj Hotel compound. Mimi Chakraborty was spellbound by such a humane step.

Mimi is known to be an ardent animal lover. She has two pets at her place. The Alaap actress raised her voice many times against atrocities on the street animals. Now, she is happy with Ratan Tata’s step. She shared the news on her Insta Story and wrote, “A real inspiration. Wish everyone felt likewise. Those who have empathy and kindness are rich in a true sense.” Sreelekha Mitra was also amazed at the news.

Recently, an HR named Ruby Khan saw a dog lying in the Taj Hotel’s compound. She questioned the workers and learnt that the dog stayed here since its birth. Ratan Tata gave a strict order that if the animals enter the compound, they have to be treated well. The HR told this story on social media and it has been viral.
