Rana Daggubati, who wished his followers a happy Dussehra from his Twitter account on Friday morning, had posted a new poster from his upcoming film Virata Parvam too. A few hours later, the production house of his next project, which will have Kollywood director Milind Rau at the helm, took to Twitter to make the announcement.

He retweeted the post with the message, "Happy and looking forward." Tipped as a pan Indian project which will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, the untitled movie, produced by Gopinath Achanta, Arjun Dasyan and Rambabu Chodisetty, under the banners Spirit Media, Viswasanti Pictures and Veedansh Creative Works, will go on floors in 2022.

Milind is known for his films Aval and Netrikann which released in 2017 and 2021 respectively. While the former, starring Siddharth and Andrea in lead roles, is streaming on Netflix, the latter which has Nayanthara in the lead, premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in August. In a release issued by the makers, they said that more details on the pan Indian project will be announced officially on their social media account soon. Rana, who was last seen in Kaadan (Aranya in Telugu and Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi), which is streaming on Zee5, will be next seen in Bheemla Nayak, which will hit the screens on January 2022.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra, Rana is pitted against Pawan Kalyan in the movie which is the official remake of Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. A shot teaser featuring a small scene of his from the movie was released sometime ago. He plays Daniel Sekar, a ruthless character, which is slightly modified compared to what Prithviraj had essayed in the original version. Venu Udugula's Virata Pravam in which he will be seen playing Comrade Ravanna has him paired opposite Sai Pallavi.
