Queensryche recently revealed their North American tour to fans. This tour will feature the band performing their first 1983 EP and 1984 debut album The Warning in their entirety, for the first time.
Popular for fusing metal with prog music to rejuvenate rock music in the ‘80s, heavy metal band Queensrÿche is set to tour North America in 2024, with its The Origins Tour. Despite scoring multiple hits and platinum albums over the years, the band never got to perform their first EP and debut album The Warning in its entirety in one performance. Also, the band shall be frequently supported by guest performers Armored Saint on stage.
When does The Origins Tour kick off, and where?
But this tour is going to change all that as it is going to primarily focus on these two, along with the band’s earliest hits. The band will get back on the road and begin performing March 22 onwards, their first stop being Houston, Texas. The tour is then to sail through Oklahoma City, Seattle, Kansas City, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, and Orlando before finishing in Fort Meyers, Florida, on May 12.
Queensrÿche took to Instagram to announce the news and share their thrill, “We are thrilled to bring to you ‘The Origins Tour!’ This will be the first time in Queensryche’s history that the EP and The Warning will be performed live in their entirety. And to make this an even more stellar tour, we are so excited that our great friends and legendary metallers @thearmoredsaint will be joining us as direct support!
The caption ended, “We are all proud to bring you this touring package and we can’t wait to see you on the road. Join us for this unique and very special experience, as we celebrate the origins of Queensryche. Take Hold!” Tickets shall go live at 10am on November 10.
