Merry Christmas box office collection day 4 - Vijay Sethupathi, Katrina Kaif film sees dip despite positive reviews, earns ₹1.65 cr

Sriram Raghavan's 'Merry Christmas,' starring Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, began slowly at the box office but is still holding firm in theatres. Despite a decline in box office receipts on January 15, the movie still draws crowds to theatres. 'Merry Christmas' made Rs 11 crore net in India in just four days.

Merry Christmas opened in theatres on January 12 and was well-received by critics and moviegoers. The mystery thriller centres on Maria (Katrina Kaif) and Albert (Vijay Sethupathi), two strangers who meet on Christmas Eve and encounter strange events.

The film had a slow start, earning Rs 2.45 crore on its first day of business, but it maintained that over the next few days. According to Sacnilk.com's initial estimations, the Katrina Kaif film brought in Rs 1.65 crore on Monday, day 4. As of right now, the total amount is Rs 11.38 crore.

The movie's occupancy rate in Hindi was 13.37%, making it the lowest one-day collection in the last four days. With Dhanush's Captain Miller and Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan having already taken up the greatest share of screens and shows, the Tamil version of the movie had a respectable 28.63 percent theatre occupancy.
