Mem Famous release date: When and where to watch Sumanth Prabhas’ film backed by Writer Padmabhushan makers

Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra and Chandru Manoharan of Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films, the makers behind Telugu cinema’s surprise hit this year Writer Padmabhushan, are reuniting for another project that’ll introduce a new director. Their next release is Mem Famous, marking the debut of popular Youtuber Sumanth Prabhas as an actor, writer and director.

Mem Famous is a happy-go-lucky, hilarious rustic tale revolving around three friends set in rural Telangana. The film grabbed many eyeballs with its promos and songs launched to date. While the film was to hit screens on June 2 initially, the team has advanced the release date by a week. Now, the film will release on May 26 and compete with Naresh, Pavitra Lokesh’s Malli Pelli at the box office.

Mani Aegurla, Mourya Chowdary, Saarya, Siri Raasi, Narendra Ravi, Muralidhar Goud, Kiran Macha, Anjimama, Shiva Nandan play other key roles in the film. A big development around Mem Famous confirms us that leading production Geetha Arts, founded by Allu Aravind, will distribute the entertainer in Telugu states. The makers released a video this Tuesday to confirm the news.

Aggressive marketing has always been the USP of Chai Bisket Films as a production house and their innovative publicity strategies went a long way in ensuring decent openings for Adivi Sesh’s biopic of Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Major in 2022 (besides Writer Padmabhushan). Post the tie-up with Geetha Arts for distribution, one can say Mem Famous is in safe hands too.

Kalyan Nayak has scored the music for the film while Shyam Dupati is the cinematographer. Srujana Adusumilli is the editor of Mem Famous, whose crew includes art director Arvind Muli as well. The post-production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace and other details surrounding the trailer launch, promotional strategies will be out soon.
