Vikkatakavi is ZEE5's latest web series, starring Megha Akash and Naresh Agastya in lead roles. Directed by Pradeep Maddali, the series is set to premiere on November 28, 2024. The trailer has already garnered significant attention, and the team recently interacted with the press to discuss the project.

Megha Akash opens up on Vikkatakavi

After a hiatus, Megha Akash is returning to screens after her wedding. Speaking about Vikkatakavi, Megha shared, "I always wanted to explore the Telugu web space, and when this offer came to me, I was surprised. But as soon as I heard the script, I loved it and decided to take it up immediately."

The series was penned by a young writer, Teja. Megha praised her character and the team, saying, "Teja has crafted a beautiful character for me, elegant and poised. Director Pradeep guided me in bringing the role to life. If you enjoy the show and my performance, the credit goes to these talented individuals."

Vikkatakavi is a period drama set in a small village where residents mysteriously begin losing their memory. A young detective named Vikkatakavi steps in to unravel the mystery. The story is helmed on a grand scale by noted producer Ram Talluri.

Megha Akash praises the team of Vikkatakavi

Speaking about the visuals, Megha expressed her amazement: "I’ve watched two episodes, and the visuals blew my mind. Beyond the thrilling storyline, the stunning visuals will keep viewers hooked until the very end."

Adding to its prestige, Vikkatakavi became the first web series to be screened at the IFFI in Goa, where it received positive feedback for its narration. The series consists of six episodes and features several prominent faces in key roles. Megha described her experience as rewarding, saying she would love to explore more web projects in the future.
